Usability Testing

Understanding your end users and their experience with your website is one of the most cost effective means of ensuring a successful project. Valuable time and money can be saved by asking users what they want instead of guessing for them. This process can be used to identify issues for existing sites and for sites in development. webslingerz offers online and offline usability testing services to our clients.

Online Usability Testing

webslingerz consults with the client to create a survey that profiles users and asks them to rate site functions and features. Invitations to the survey may then be implemented on an existing site via a link, pop-up window, and/or via email. After the test, we deliver a results analysis report and meet with the client to advise future action.

Offline Usability Testing

webslingerz drafts a list of tasks for user completion on a demo of a new site design. We next create a survey to profile users and ask them to rate site functions and features. webslingerz will then schedule and administer tests to target users in our office facility. The users are asked to complete the list of tasks while the administrator times the user, records notes, and videotapes the computer screen. After the tests, we deliver a results analysis report and meet with the client to advise future action.
